CONCRETE SEALER, WATER-BASED CONCENTRATE

PRODUCT:

STONE-GUARD is a clear penetrating water-based, water repellent sealer for semi-dry products to waterproof and help control efflorescense in paving stones, slabs, retaining walls and other semi-dry concrete products.In the example below, the sample on top has been treated, the bottom has not.



ADVANTAGES:

  • STONE-GUARD is a penetrating emulsion that reacts with cement particles to create a barrier against water absorption.

  • This invisible barrier is not sensitive to ultraviolet rays and weather deterioration. Freeze thaw characteristics are improved.

  • The sealer is clear, filmless and does not alter the color or texture of the surface nor affect the vapor transmission of the substrate.

  • Permeability reduced with internal barrier and water repelling properties.

  • Secondary efflorescence and chloride deposits on the surface are minimized.

  • Colored products tend to hold their colors better over time.

  • VOC compliant, water-based, non-toxic, and odorless.

  • Resists fungi, mildew, rust and stain damage.

  • Economical one coat application to green or cured semi-dry concrete products.



    DIRECTIONS:

    STONE-GUARD should be diluted at the rate of one part sealer to 11 parts clean water for proper solids solution. Application temperatures range from 45 DEG.F (7 DEG.C) to 98 DEG.F (37 DEG.C) if in direct sunlight.



    APPLICATION:

    Apply to clean non-contaminated substrate by low pressure sprayers. Use rotary, gear, roller pumps or commercial spray tanks to fan spray the sealer at a maximum pressure 20-30 psi. Rate of application is 300-400 SF/gal. ( 7.4-9.8 m2/lt.). Best results are obtained by delivering a soft spray of sealer to saturate the product.
    Test application must be performed to determine exact coverage rate.



    PACKAGING:

    5 gallon (19 lt.) and 55 gallon (208 lt.) containers.
    Keep from freezing.
