BlocAide 35

PIPE, MANHOLE, & HOLLOWCORE ADMIXTURE

PRODUCT:

BlocAide 35 is a special inorganic plasticizer with dispersing and wetting agent characteristics to improve semi-dry concrete products. In the example below, the sample on the left was made with BlocAide 35, the right has not.



ADVANTAGES:

  • Cement and aggregate distribution improved to minimize segregation during conveying, placing and compaction of semi-dry concrete.

  • High early compressive and flexural strengths achieved by increased density and more complete hydration of cement particles. Cement reduction possible. No water reduction or calcium chloride.

  • Steel bonding improved with increased concrete workability and product density.

  • Lower water intrusion with increased density and chemical reactions.

  • Increased production units with reduced cycle time. Mold removal easier and less product patching.

  • Durability improved with higher strength and density with reduced water penetration which increases weathering resistance.



    DIRECTIONS:

    BlocAide 35 should be added to the mix with the first mixing water.



    DOSAGE:

    1-4 oz. per 100 lb. [30-120 ml per 100 kg] of cement. Please consult your BC USA representative for more information or assistance.
    Trials are essential to determine the most effective dosage rate.



    PACKAGING:

    55 gallon (200 kg) drums and 265 gallon (1000 kg) containers.
    Keep from freezing.
